Karkwa - Le volume du vent

First off I'll start by saying this album deserves a couple more shots of me listening to it before I can truly reviewed it. It started of great, felt very cinematic, I could see it being an awesome soundtrack to many things in life and in fiction, but from the fourth or fifth song forward I kinda dozed off. I still enjoyed it, but I wasn't really quite there, and I think it wasn't the music's fault, I just got busy and probably spaced out/derealized as well. Other than that, the presence of a more feminine voice was surprising and welcoming, and I'm looking forward to listening to this album again when I'm in a better state of existence.

Intertwined - EP by Dodie

a very cute and full of heart EP, i had to listen to it twice - so good, yet so short. 'when' is hauntingly beautiful. it feels very simple and young and familiar but also fresh, all at the same time and mixed together.

TERROR.DOME is my new favorite song this is a great album i heard she used to describe it as "glitter trap", and it is, indeed. also, what a pretty album cover. ok this might be my new favorite album ever.

Adore Life by Savages

It sure made me feel something. And I got hooked after the first song. It's not a favorite, at least not yet, but I feel like it's very memorable. It was the first Savages album I listened to, but I know I'll remember the feel of the band if someone mentions it by name. I also found it to be a little lame, but aren't we all lame? Isn't life a lamefest, after all?
